New Prayer for Peace

Lord, let us be a beacon of light and harmony.
May we serve You to maximize the joy, health, abundance, and aliveness in and of our world.

Where there is struggle, may there be freedom.
Where there is hope, may there be success.
Where there is dis-ease, may there be wholeness and healing.
Where there is peace, may there be prosperity, order, and tranquility.
Where there is change, may there be innovation.
Where there is love, may there be respect, honor, and civility.
Where there is mindfulness, may there be illumination and awakening.
Where there is consciousness, may there be spirituality and serenity.
Where there is confusion, may there be knowingness and belief.
Where there is wanting, may there be actualization.
Where there is victimhood, may there be victory.
Where there is atonement, may there be attunement.
Where there is decision, may there be action and commitment.
Where there is justice, may there be inner peace.
Where there is poverty, may there be a righteous labor of love.
Where there is the past, may we contribute to the now.
Where there is uncertainty, may there be authentic faith.
Where there is meditation, may there be clarity.
Where there is intelligence, may there be pure awareness.
Where there is pain, may there be growth.
Where there is emptiness, may we be filled with joy and abundance.
Where there is unity, may there be serenity.

Where there is action, may we engage in deeds that stimulate positive outcomes.

O’ Great Master, let us seek to empathize rather than console,
to comprehend rather than be understood,
to love rather than be loved.

While it is in earnestly giving that one receives,
it is by forgiving that we own our freedom,
and it is in illumination that one finds.

For it is in transformation that one transcends,
and it is in rebirth that one is raised to eternal bliss.

When we are contemplative in action, we can express our destiny,
and we will never be defeated if we have elevated our spirit and mastered our consciousness.
