Comm'r George S. Mentz is an international lawyer, professor, and author recognized globally for his leadership in education, finance, law enforcement, spirituality, ethics, and professional development. Mentz currently serves as Lord Chancellor of the Worldwide Anglican Church (Orthodox), CEO of Mentz Law Firm, Owner of the New York Gazette, and CEO of the GAFM Global Academy of Finance and Management® / International Board of Standards—an accredited certification body operating in over 150 nations.

White House Presidential Scholars Program (2019–2022):
Appointed by the President of the United States as a Federal Commissioner, Mentz served on the White House Presidential Scholars Commission, one of the nation’s most prestigious educational advisory bodies. Recognized as an eminent leader in law, business, and education, he provided national-level guidance for America’s top high school scholars. Mentz volunteered under four U.S. Presidents—including Presidents Obama, Biden, and George W. Bush—without accepting salary or compensation.

Government Commissioner – Airport Commission, Colorado Springs (2022–2026):
Commissioner Mentz serves on the Colorado Springs Airport Commission, a major U.S. transportation hub and home to Space Force Command. He contributes to strategic oversight and infrastructure development.

Mentz also serves as Chairman of the Civil Service Commission for one of the largest cities in the United States, overseeing HR and training for more than 1,400 uniformed officers.

Counselor Mentz is a licensed attorney in the United States, admitted to practice law in Louisiana and before the Federal Courts of Louisiana (EDLA) and Colorado.

He has taught and designed more than 300 graduate-level law, business, and professional courses at accredited institutions. Professor Mentz developed the first three graduate wealth management courses to be reviewed and recognized by the American Bar Association (ABA) for graduate legal education.

Mentz is the first person in the United States to simultaneously earn qualifications as a licensed attorney (JD), MBA graduate, Doctor of Jurisprudence, Chartered Management Consultant, Certified Financial Consultant, and Qualified Financial Planner graduate.
