Statement of the Chancellor of the Worldwide Anglican Church (WAC)

The purpose of the Reclaiming Spirituality Commission is to stand against corrupt political-religious leaders who make a mockery of Jesus Christ and Christianity while serving false gods, anti Christian idealogogies, and organizations. Using common sense, mathematics, science, and logic, we will discredit any bishop, priest, rector, or deacon who perpetuates fraud or exploits the Ancient Church for political or related reasons.

On this website, we have debunked and repudiated the divisiveness, political manipulation, and unethical racial messages of certain so-called “reclaiming” or “beloved” movements that place fraudulent social-justice ideologies above God and Jesus Christ. These movements’ leaders—many of whom are white priests and bishops—continue to marginalize and oppress Asians, Hispanics, Irish, Italians, Africans, Sicilians, Native Americans, and countless other historically oppressed minorities.

We reject the so-called Leftist Reclaiming Manifestos, which promote ethnic and racial division rather than peace and unity under Christ. Publications such as Reclaiming Jesus make a mockery of the teachings of our Lord. In truth, many of these Leftist political-religious figures—bishops, seminary leaders, and priests—have failed to apologize for their complicity in the historic and systemic crimes of membership in organizations which condoned slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, and the Ku Klux Klan, and for ongoing failures in civil rights, criminal justice, education, unity, and the protection of Christian values.

Many Protestant clergy have a rudimentary understanding of canon law but remain ignorant of U.S. law, the history of racism, and the principles of truth and transparency. Too often, Protestant bishops are political ideologues who attempt to whitewash the Confederate Democrat responsibility for the greatest racial injustices of the last three centuries.

Since most bishops and priests possess little or no education in law, legal ethics, or political science, they frequently make uninformed, hateful, and divisive statements from the pulpit without proper study or reflection which only hurts small children, the elderly, the suffering, andnd those with other illnesses.

Clergy are not paid to spread political and ethnic hatred among the faithful. Their duty is to teach about God, the Church, the Book of Common Prayer, the history of Christianity, and the sacraments; and to minister to the sick, the poor, and the elderly with humility and compassion.

As for Anglicans: today, we represent the largest Anglican body in the world, as approximately 80% (over 45 million) faithful have left the old liberal institutions of London and New York in the last 5 years to join the orthodox and traditional Anglican Church. We now comprise nearly 80–90% of all global Anglicans who remain true to apostolic and orthodox spirituality which is rooted in the teachings of Jesus, the bible, and the cultural traditions of Africa, Arabia, West Asia, and Europe.
